Purpose of the association: Under its statutes, the association is a not-for-profit body serving the public benefit within the meaning of §§ 34 et seq. of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO). Its statutory purpose comprises the performance of scientific research and teaching tasks in connection with the teachings of the Torah (biblical research), the publication of related scholarly publications and documentation, and the religious remembrance of the deceased. This purpose is pursued in particular through lectures, gatherings, joint teaching and learning sessions, publications and the operation of a library within the framework of Beit-Midrash "Or Zarua" in Vienna.

Editorial policy of this website (per § 25 MedienG): This website provides information about the association's activities and educational offerings in the field of Jewish studies and biblical scholarship, serves its public relations, and offers the possibility to support the association through donations.
